The PCB has also allocated funding for women’s ODI and T20 tournaments to support the growth of women’s cricket in the country. Moreover, the minimum monthly salary for regional ground staff has been raised to PKR 42,000 to improve their wages and working conditions.

New Policies for Domestic Cricket Structure

Under the new policy, every department team must sign players on official contracts, with each squad consisting of 20 players. Grade-1 departments are required to pay players a minimum monthly salary of PKR 150,000 or a lump sum of PKR 1.5 million.

Furthermore, the board has set the minimum match fee at PKR 10,000 for first-class and List A matches, along with a daily allowance of at least PKR 5,000. The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and National T20 Cup will now include new teams from Sialkot and Peshawar as part of the PCB’s expansion plans for the upcoming seasons.
